US Army Physical Fitness Test Score
<< The USAPFT was introduced in 1980. In 2022 it was replaced by a revised test
(Army Combat Fitness Test) which is intended to put more emphasis on the needs of a combat
soldier, including strengh, agility and balance. >>
Each event is scored separately. The number of completed repetitions (push-ups and sit-ups) and the time taken for the
2-mile run are each converted to a score between 0 and 100 points. (Two miles is approximately 3219m.)
60 points represents a pass in each event. To qualify for the PT badge a soldier must continue to score 270 total points.
Scores are valid for the age range 17 - 66 yrs.
