Testosterone Units Conversion

The units commonly used to express blood serum concentrations of total and free testosterone differ from one country to another.
While the US generally use nanograms/decilitre and picograms/millilitre, other countries, including New Zealand, use nanomoles/litre and picomoles/litre.

The conversion factors are:

  • 1 nmol/litre = 28.85 ng/dL

  • 1 pmol/litre = 0.2885 pg/mL
